A booking photo can help distinguish two people with similar names. It does not confirm release. Ask separately for the booking image if it is needed and releasable.

No Grayson Daily Feed
The missing official feed is itself a key local fact. Grayson's older VINE page mentions a twenty-four-hour period, but that phrase described repeated notification calls after registration. It did not mean a public list of people released during the last twenty-four hours. Texas replaced county VINE with IVSS-Counties on September 1, 2025, so the old telephone and PIN workflow must also be treated as historical.
No official Texas Grayson County sheriff app was verified. A visible app result for a Grayson sheriff belongs to Virginia and must not be used for Sherman jail releases. Current IVSS-Counties is a specific-person search and notification system, not a downloadable daily release log. It also warns that people no longer in custody may not appear. Grayson Jail Release Contacts
The current GCSO site lists the main Sheriff's Office number as 903-813-4408 and Detention Bureau extensions through 903-813-4200. A call can help identify which unit holds the record or clarify where to send a request. For a precise historical date, release code, or receiving agency, obtain the written or portal record rather than relying on a phone conversation alone.
The public administrative schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a noon to 1:00 p.m. lunch closure. Those are office hours, not inmate release hours. GCSO has not published a release schedule, discharge door, waiting area, weekend routine, or transport plan. Release timing follows court and jail operations and cannot be inferred from front-office hours.
The sheriff's Property and Evidence page says evidence property is released by appointment only. That policy concerns a separate unit, not the routine return of belongings held during jail booking. Activity in those systems does not establish continued custody, and a closed account does not establish release. Visitation, telephone, commissary, and payment data serve operational needs rather than historical custody verification.
Keep the arrest record and jail record separate. Sherman expressly says it has no separate jail, so a Sherman arrest that led to booking belongs in the Grayson County custody system. For Denison or another municipality, first identify which facility received the person. The arresting agency may hold an incident report, while GCSO holds the county booking and departure entry.
